Administrator, nursery school, Lewes, £13ph

Our busy children’s nursery in Lewes needs an Administrator to join the team.

The salary for this position is £13ph and you’ll work a 4-day week, 9am to 4pm, all year round (we close for a week at Christmas). You’ll be entitled to 28 days holiday per year (pro rata) and you’ll be able to join our company pension.

You’ll collaborate with the Nursery Manager on a daily basis but much of the time you’ll be your own boss, so you’ll need to be self-motivated and proactive.

The job includes figure work (basic credit control, payroll and the children’s grant funding), organisational skills (keeping HR files up to date) and written work (letter writing to prospective parents). You’ll need to use Word and Excel accurately and quickly. Our management system is easy to pick up, but training will be given if necessary.

The nursery has a car park on site, we are 10 minutes’ walk from the train station and a bus to Brighton stops one minute’s walk away.
