The youngest children in the nursery are the Mini Monties, aged between six months and two years.
Our Minis get a fabulous start in life. Most importantly, they receive the love and support they need from our qualified, experienced staff, all of whom have specialist baby training and first aid qualifications. We mirror your routine at home as much as is possible to make Minis a home-from-home experience for the children.
But more than this, Mini Monties get the stimulation and social interactions – with other children and the teachers – that help them thrive and grow emotionally and intellectually.
Cuddles and fun are an essential part of the mix, but we also use our knowledge of child development to select toys that develop the whole child. Activities can include anything and everything, from painting and singing, to bug hunts and duckling hatching. There is plenty of fresh air in our lovely private garden and local walks are taken as often as possible.
The food we serve is delicious, healthy and age-appropriate and all the children’s care needs (including nappies and wipes) are included as part of our care package.
We take pictures of the children every day to share with parents in an online Learning Journal, which you can use to see what your child has been up to in the day and that builds over time into a beautiful keepsake of the child’s time at nursery.
