Uckfield Fees

School House Nurseries are fabulous places for your child to learn, make friends and thrive as they grow. It’s been that way since we took over the nursery and introduced the Montessori approach 10 years ago.

The level of financial support available to working parents is also at an all-time high, making nursery more affordable than it’s ever been.

Up to 30 hours of grant funding are available for every child of working parents. This covers your child’s basic care and the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

But at The Old School House we believe in going the extra yard in every area of the early years’ experience.

So, we add Additional Services to the basic offering government asks us to provide. These are designed to make your life easier and your child’s experience better.

Let’s start with you. Being a parent of young children is not easy, so we do what we can to shoulder some of the load by:

But the Additional Services are also about the children, about providing them extra-curricular activities that go beyond the EYFS. So we put on events such as the Nativity Play and Graduation where the children can shine.

And we run extra-curricular activities such as yoga, French, Forest School, gardening club, Eco School, outings, walks, a cooking club, PE and music & movement. All of these add to the children’s early years experience.

We do make a charge for these Additional Services. It is modest, and voluntary, and essential for our financial sustainability. We hope you agree that it’s worth it.

Thanks for considering our nursery and we hope to see you soon.
